Mukesh Ambani hosts dandiya night at Antilia as Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta pre-wedding celebration begins
Mukesh Ambani, the 14th-richest person in the world, hosted a dandiya night at his residence — Antilia — on Altamount Road, Cumballa Hill, Mumbai on Tuesday, February 20, 2019, a couple of weeks ahead of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding. Akash Ambani, the son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, is all set to tie the knot with Shloka Mehta, the daughter of billionaire diamantaire Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta, on March 9, 2019.
The pre-wedding celebrations of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta seemed to have begun with the dandiya night with performances of Falguni Pathak and Tushar Trivedi. According to an ET report, Mukesh Ambani’s brother Anil Ambani was also present at the celebrations with his wife Tina Ambani and mother Kokilaben Ambani. As per the pictures available from the pre-wedding celebration so far, none of the bigwigs from Bollywood such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and other notable celebrities were present at Antilia on Tuesday.
Mukesh Ambani, the billionaire business magnate and Chairman of Reliance Industries, was seen in black kurta while his son Akash Ambani sported a blue kurta. Nita Ambani wore a blush pink Sabyasachi ethnic saree with dark contrast heritage jewellery.
Earlier last week, the musical wedding card of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta was unveiled. According to the wedding card of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, there will be a three-day long program during Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding. On Saturday, March 9, 2019, the Mangal Baraat will assemble at 3:30 pm at Trident, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai, for the Mangal Vivah after that there will be High Tea at 6:30 pm which will be followed by Dinner at Jio World Centre, BKC, Mumbai.
On Sunday, March 10, 2019, there will be Wedding Celebrations (Mangal Parv) at 6:30 pm followed by Dinner at Jio World Centre, BKC, Mumbai and on Monday, March 11, 2019, there is Wedding Reception (Mangal Ashirwaad) of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta is planned at 7:30 pm which will also be followed by Dinner at Jio World Centre.
