CM sanctioned Rs 130 crore for development works in Raigarh

Raipur: Chief Minister Raman Singh sanctioned Rs 130 crore for various development works in Kota block of Bilaspur district on Tuesday. Besides he launched a signature campaign there under the ‘swachta hi seva hai’ campaign which is being run from September 16 till October 2.
Addressing a public gathering in Kota block headquarters Chief Minister Raman Singh said that former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has increased the value of Chhattisgarh by creating this state. The development that has taken place in Chhattisgarh in the past 15 years is only because of him.
Singh said this development journey is dedicated to the departed leader and the creator of Chhattisgarh, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He has touched the hearts of the people in the state.
“Atal Vikas Yatra” is a journey to visualize his dreams for the state and make them true. For this the government has made a vision named ‘Atal Drishti Patra’ to make Nava Chhattisgarh by the year 2025, he said.  
On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced that the government has accepted the proposal to build a new building in Kota College from next academic session and classes of postgraduate science and commerce courses will be commenced there.

Chief Minister Raman Singh inaugurated and performed bhoomipujan of more than 40 development works of Rs 130 crore in the region.
Raman Singh inaugurated 25 construction works of about Rs 111.34 crore including a 22 kilometers Sakri-Ganiyari-Kota Road worth Rs 76.57 crore, Bansajhal Diversion Scheme worth Rs 11.72 crore, power substation of capacity 33/11 KV worth Rs 1.70 crore in Ratanpur, and CV Raman Kota power substation of capacity 33/11 KV of Rs 1.55 crore.
Besides Singh laid the foundation and performed bhoomipujan of 10 works of Rs 19.55 crore including construction work of Lufa Diversion Yojana, Navagaon diversion scheme and many more. Singh also distributed goods and financial aid to 587 beneficiaries under various schemes of government.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Raman Singh laid foundation stones, performed ‘bhoomipujan’ and dedicated as many as 15 development works of Rs 201.44 crores in Dharamjaigarh of Raigarh district as a part of Atal Vikas Yatra on Tuesday.
Singh inaugurated construction of as many as ten works worth Rs 191.44 crore and five works of Rs 9.99 crore in the region. He also distributed materials and financial aid of Rs 44.66 crore to more than 47 thousand beneficiaries in the district.
