Colourful cultural programmes to be held at Rajyotsav for three days

Chhattisgarh Times Raipur: Three-day colourful ‘Rajyotsav’ will be held from November 1 to mark the 18th anniversary of the formation of Chhattisgarh State. Cultural programmes will be presented on all three days of the State festival.
The three-day function will be held at the Pandit Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Capitol Complex at village Thutha (Atal Nagar). Preparations are in full swing and final touches are being given to the festival.
Additional Chief Secretary RP Mandal along with other senior officers inspected the Rajyotsav venue at village Thutha in Atal Nagar on Monday and reviewed the on-going preparations. Mandal instructed the officers concerned regarding the Health, transport and parking arrangements, cultural programmes and the facilities to the common public.
He informed that the closing ceremony will be held at 7: 30 pm on 3rd November. The chief guest will be Chhattisgarh Lok Ayyog Chief Lok Ayukta Justice T.P. Sharma at the closing ceremony. Colorful cultural programmes will be conducted at 6 pm on all the three days.
Bastar Band artistes will perform on the first day on 1st November. ‘Ek Bharat-Shresht Bharat’ programme will be performed by the Gujarat group. Mumbai-based playback singer Niti Mohan and his troupe will perform also.
Raipur-based differently-abled persons ‘Kompalvaani’, Sriram Sangeet College and Kamaladevi Sangeet College artistes will perform on the second day on 2nd November. Ankita Raut will perform Odisha dance also. Raji Mohammad and his team will present a musical programme. Transgender artists will also participate on the third day. The artistes of Indira Kala and Sangeet University Khairagarh artistes and Mumbai-based musician Monti Sharma and his team will also perform during the fest.
