CM to inaugurate IIT Bhilai’s first techno-cultural fest

Raipur: Chief Minister Raman Singh to inaugurate “MERAZ’18”, the first annual techno-cultural fest of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai which is going to be held in the state capital on October. 
The fest provides a platform for students to tap their potential and unravel their quiescent talents. Students from various backgrounds and cultures will get an opportunity to interact with and appreciate one another.
Students of IIT Bhilai including Shaswat Singh, Ketan Mishra, Vachica Gupta along with Dr. Rishi Ranjan visited Chief Minister’s office to invite him as chief guest. Besides they presented a 3-D Printed Ganesh Murti to the Chief Minister on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The idol was fabricated and printed by the Digital Fabrication Team of IIT BHILAI. 
Students also discussed the various events which are going to be held in MERAZ along with the technological progress of IIT Bhilai. The event will be filled with various vibrant events including the Battle of Bands, Robo Fights, DJ Night and Laser Tag.
Started in 2016, IIT Bhilai crossed many hurdles to become a place where some of the brightest students from all over the country come and collaborate to innovate and solve problems that concern all of us.
