Workshop for women entrepreneurs at 36inc

Raipur: Headstart, a community for early-stage startups in collaboration with state-run incubator 36inc held an interactive session “Headstart-WE” on the theme ‘In Her Shoes– Her Struggle, Her Passion, Her Success Story’ for women entrepreneurs on Saturday evening.

Prominent women entrepreneurs including Priyanka Agarwal, Majusha Parial, Verve, andPallavi Chandrani shared their thoughts and life experiences how they initially started their business, what difficulties they faced and how they overcome the challenges with the participants.

Manjusha Parial spoke about how a proper balance between personal and professional life and time management is important to be an entrepreneur. She also informed that she belongs to a joint family and she got immense support from family due to which she was able to make it big.

Another speaker Pallavi Chandrani said that initially for a few years she was a homemaker but gradually she realized her passion to start a manufacturing unit for clothing range. She faced many odds on personal as well as professional front. Several of her samples got rejects but she continued working with full zeal. And today she employs around 40 employees and has several renowned clients.
Ruchi Vadera, an aspiring entrepreneur who attended the event said that it was a wonderful initiative to guide and inspire Women entrepreneurs and she got answers to many concerns of hers. More such events should be conducted regularly.
More than 40 aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, as well as students from the city and nearby areas, attended the event. The event was conducted with an aim to motivate and inspiring aspiring and early-stage Women backed startups.
