Dharamshalas will be set-up in all prominent tourist destinations at Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Dharam shalas will be set-up in all prominent tourist destinations at Chhattisgarh, religious and endowment Minister instructed concerned official regarding that.

Minister of Home and Religions and Culture, Tamwardhuj Sahu reviewed the work of religion and culture department in his office at Naya Raipur.

He gave special emphasis on identifying the rich culture of Chhattisgarh not only in the country but also on the world Map. For this, Sahu gave all the departmental officials the necessary guidelines to make the plan of action plan.

Minister Sahu took information about the work of religious trust and culture and tourism department in the meeting. He also guided regarding the development of Chhattisgarh culture and tourism for necessary increase in the budget to make more attractive those departments.

Sahu gave special emphasis on spreading the multicultural culture and tourism sites of Chhattisgarh to make it known to the country and abroad.

At the same time, he also directed for the protection and promotion of the state’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. In addition to directing tourists and places of religious importance to ensure the availability and of basic facilities.

Sahu has also instructed to accelerate the opening of the Dharmashalas to facilitate tourists in these tourist destinations in the state. At the same time, he directed to provide information about the registered and unregistered trusts of religious places and temples. These guidelines also provide necessary directions for routes and proper drinking water arrangements for smooth movement of these sites.

Minister Sahu also gave instructions on how to spread awareness about various primitive cultures including Chhattisgarh’s bid and to create an action plan to promote it. It was informed in the meeting that Chhattisgarh has currently run 18 Tourist Information Centres outside the state from the Tourism Board. These are operated in the states like; New Delhi, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Departmental officers were present on this meeting.
