Raipur:In a major move by the government which came just at the heels of moral code of conduct being implemented in the state,three senior IPS officers of the 1988 batch have been promoted as Director General (DG) in their respective departments.
Mukesh Gupta currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG) of Anti Corruption Bureau and Economic Offences Wing has been made chief of the same department, Sanjay Pillay ADG police training,chhattisgarh armed forces and police headquarter administration has been promoted to the rank of DG ,retaining his erstwhile departments while RK Vij has been made Special DG in his present department of cyber crime,planning and telecom.
