The BJP top brass seems to be in a real fix as the dilemma persists in ticket distribution for it’s Bastar Assembly Seat. Among the various names that cropped up only Subhau Kashyap and Jawita Mandavi has made it to the final stage. According to some senior party leaders if the female factor is considered at the ultimate decididing moment it can well be said that Jawita will make the final cut..
It may be noted that after Lata Usendi,Jawita is the only women leader who has made it big in the political arena in this part of the state. Unlike the soft spoken Usendi she has a charisma of her own,making sharp attacks and not refraining herself from rebuking her political rivals in the mass gathering and rallies she attends. The crowd applause says it all.
In difficult times for the BJP she stood rock solid by the party,continuing with her organisational work and finally winning the post of Zila Panchayat President. Her tireless efforts has not gone unnoticed by party leaders, even in the run up to the Zila Panchayat election she didn’t care much for her personal well being or for her 8month old child that she carried in her lap,wherever she went. Now she is the Vice President of ” Bastar Dusserah Committee ” ,where in the history of Bastar no woman has ever become a member of the same.
The countdown to Bastar polls have begun and it’s only a matter of time to see whose way luck shines,Subhau Kashyap or Jawita Mandavi.
