Raipur: Chhattisgrah Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh Filed nomination papers for legislative elections 2018, as Bhartiya Janta Party candidate from Rajnandgaon Constituency. While filing nomination, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, Chief Minister Raman Singh’s wife Veena Singh, Member of Parliament Abhishek Singh, state BJP president Dharlamal Kaushik were present.
This is the third chance for Raman Singh to contest legislative elections from Rajnandgaon region. In the last election, he defeated Mrs Anita Mudaliar, wife of martyr Congress leader Uday Mudaliyar in the Jheeram Ghaati Naxalite attack. This time from the Congress’s Mrs. Karuna Shukla will fight against him from Rajnandgaon.
