RAVISHANKAR PRASAD LASHES OUT AT CONGRESS, CALLS THAROOR A PETTY PARTY WORKER

CHHATTISGARH TIMES:RAIPUR : In his press conference at the Bhartiya Janta Party headquarters here in Raipur Union Minister for Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad lashed out at opposition Congress, questioning their ulterior motives during UPA regime. His words tore apart the naxalite movement when he denied their basic principle of “political power grows out from the barrel of a gun “, he said their aim is to hinder every nobel government initiative and obstruct the path to development. He praised Raman Singh’s effort for all round development of the state and even said that despite being Chief Minister for 15 straight years he is still the soft spoken man with an everlasting humility. His admonishing attitude towards human rights activists was also a key factor during the media briefing, where he claimed that these so called activists are biased in supporting the naxalite whereas none comes up when a soldier is martyared.
When asked about the Rafale Deal,he clarified the central government’s stand and said that UPA government postponed this procurement of 36 fighter jets from the French company Dassault because it had no financial gains from the said purchase but the present NDA government at the centre finalised the needful documentation and made the procurement at a price 9 times lower than that quoted during UPA tenure.
Not naming Tharoor he said that undue comments from small time opposition leaders should be ignored and not dealt in a serious manner.
Overall he seemed in a gusto which was impressive enough for the BJP stalwart.
