President Ram Nath Kovind visits Arun Jaitley at AIIMS
AIIMS officials have noted that the former Finance Minister is now stable and recovering
President Ram Nath Kovind visited former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Friday along with Union Health Minister Harsha Vardhan and other senior officials from the Ministry.
The 67-year-old Mr. Jaitely has been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit at the AIIMS since August 9 after he was admitted here with complaints of uneasiness, weakness, and breathlessness.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and other top Bharatiya Janata Party leaders visited the hospital to inquire about his condition.
AIIMS officials have noted that Mr. Jaitley is now stable and recovering.
He is under the care of a team of doctors.
