Chhattisgarh Times Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel started his new year by distributing sweets and greeting labourers at a Chawdi near Kotwali area of the state capital. Baghel wished the labourers happy new year and gave them best wishes for the years.
The chief minister patiently heard the problems faced by the labourers in their routine life and assured them a quick resolution. Amid the request of the labourers, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel assured them for construction of a shed and toilets in the Chawdi and also makes arrangements for pure drinking water for them. He instructed Labour Commissioner Subodh Kumar Singh, to take immediate action in this regard.
Baghel said that labourer cards should be made of the men and women labourers and it must be ensured that they are getting their minimum wages of time. Some senior officials along with a large number of labourers were present on the occasion.
