Raipur: The Bhartiya Janta Party has declared the names of the candidate to break the target of mission 65. At the BJP headquarters under the chairmanship of Prime minister Narendra Modi, The central election committee stamped the names of candidates in the meeting. Chhattisgarh Chief minister Dr Raman Singh who has the made the hat rick in Chhattisgarh again made the face of BJP electoral field and selected for Rajnandgaon constituency.
JP Nadda with Chief Minister Raman Singh finally gave way to BJP announcing it list of 77 candidates. Saroj Pandey, Saudan Singh and Pawan Sai were also consulted before the final list was done after much brain storming. A few new faces have arose which may lead to dissatisfaction but the organization is well versed in coping with this and appease all. Following are the candidates whose name has been formally announced.
This time ,Vikram Usendi is the only is the only Member of Parliament who has got opportunity to contest assembly elections. He has being brought from the Antagarh constituency. IAS and Raipur Collector O P Chaudhary who has quit the job and joined BJP will fight from the kharsia constituency. Former congress MLA from Pali tanakhar who has recently joined BJP has got ticket from his same constituency Pali Tanakhar.
Nadda told that out of 77, 14 seats have been given to the women now. 25 tickets are given to youth, 19 tickets for scheduled tribes and 10 tickets have given to the Scheduled Cast. 14 tickets have been changed so far.
