Chhattisgarh Times Raipur: Baldev Singh Bhatiya appointed General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association (COA).
Focusing on 36th National games being held at Goa a working committee meeting of COA was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of COA Vice President and Co-Secretary of Indian Olympic Association Vikram Singh Sisodiya, on Saturday where various decisions for some major posts of COA were taken.
Keeping in view the upcoming 36th National games, the association didn’t accept the resignation of Baldev Singh Bhatiya and said that He will continue to hold his post of General Secretary.
Similarly, the resignation of Vijay Singh was also rejected and from now he will hold position of Vice President. It is believed that due to their great efforts in 35th National games, they are being appointed back to their respective posts.
COA Executive General Secretary Sanjay Mishra said that the Association has instructed all the sports associations across the state to confirm their participation in the upcoming 36th National games and inform the same to COA before the deadline.
Besides they have also been instructed to update about their requirements for a coach, sports equipment, and other such things which they will require for better performance in the national games, he said.
Mishra informed that only a few sports associations have sent their confirmation and requirements so far and many more are yet to be confirmed.
