Janta Congress Chhattisgarh supremo Ajit Jogi today accused the congress of emulating his party’s manifesto, speaking at his party headquarters he even released his election affidavit. He said that during his party formation he had laid out some specific points regarding MSP of paddy procurement at 2500 per quintal, total ban on alcohol, social security pension be elevated to 1500 and local unemployed youth getting employment. His previously signed affidavit even said that failure to meet those stated in the legal document was a punishable offence. He took a jibe at the Gandhi scion as he stated that “if political will persists in Rahul Gandhi, waiver off loans of farmers can be made within a span of 10 minutes instead of 10 days.” It might be noted that the Congress manifesto states that it would forego farmer loans within 10 days of coming to power.
He even criticised the Raman Singh government for not being able to properly tackle the maoists insurgency.
