Renowned contractor murdered brutally at Balod district
Chhattisgarh Times A renowned contractor was murdered brutally by few unknown persons on Saturday night at Dondi village of Balod district.
Amid investigations, police said that the incident happened late at night on Saturday and the unknown murderers tied hands and legs of Sunil very tightly with a rope. After which they attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon leading to his death.
According to information, the body of deceased Sunil Jain was found by neighbors, after which they informed the police. A police team immediately rushed to the incident spot and conducted investigations.
Sunil was murdered inside his house and the door was also locked from the inside. The cause of the murder and the accused are still unknown, says the police.
The police have also called a dog squad team for further investigations on the matter. The police team is also checking CCTV footage of the nearby areas for further information.
According to the information, Sunil Jain was the contractor of disposable work in the Haahaladhi mines and Mahamaya mines in Bastar district. Sunil lived in Balod alone for business purpose. His other family members live in Raipur.
