Raipur: The handicap voters from all the 18 constituencies, are proving that no physical challenges or hurdles can stop the ones who dare to come out and cast their votes. They all showed a great spirit and enthusiasm and reached polling booth to exercise their franchise.
Some voters with disabilities reached the booths on their wheelchairs while some reached the booths through the e-rickshaws facility provided by the state election commission for old and disabled voters.
NCC cadets in Rajnandgaon and Narayanpur district helped the handicap voters in the polling booths to cast their votes. Similarly, in Kanker district, school students gathered in the polling booths to support and help old and handicap voters to exercise their franchise.
The students of Scout Guide reached at Polling Booth No. 66 in Narayanpur district to assist the officials on the poll duty and help them to conduct smooth polling. A similar scenario was seen in Kukdajhor village in the district, where the Scout Guide students bought the handicap voters on wheelchairs to the polling booth.
