Smuggling of illegal scrap caught, 5 arrested, Scrap worth lakhs seized

Special Police Teams from Dharsiva, Kharora and Mandir Hasaud received information from Tipsters about the illegal transportation of scrap in their respective zones. The Higher police officials in respective zones reacted immediately to the situation and took the vehicles and drivers into custody. The Scrap seized weighs about 35 tonnes and is worth ₹8,41,500. Case filed against all the accused under the section 41(1+4)./ 379 of IPC.
